Las Vegas, NV — Following the horrific domestic terrorist attack in Las Vegas that has left over 50 people dead and hundreds injured, Trump supporters have taken to social media demanding that President Trump expand his recent travel ban to include all 50 States. Earlier this month, Mr. Trump updated his controversial executive order from January to include additional ‘terrorist’ states. However, now country music fans across the country are demanding more aggressive action.
“President Trump is working hard to save America,” said Tennessee resident and Donald Trump fan Emma Goldstone speaking to FoxNews earlier this morning. “But he needs to do more to stop attacks like this on American soil. And he should probably start by banning Moslems [sic] on all plane flights. Let’s put America first.”
The slain gunman police described as the “sole aggressor” in the mass shooting at a Las Vegas concert has been identified as Stephen Paddock, 64, of nearby Mesquite. He is undoubtedly described as the “sole aggressor” and not a terrorist because he is a white male. However, despite the fact that a white American male indiscriminately opened fire from the 32nd floor of the Mandalay Bay Hotel, killing at least 50 and wounding hundreds around 10:15 p.m on Sunday, Trump supporters continued to insist that the travel ban needed to be expanded despite the fact that the shooter was from Tennessee.
“We’ve gots to keep these terrirists [sic] from traveling around America,” said Jason Mann of Mobile, Alabama in a post on the Popular Donald Trump American POTUS Facebook group. “The best thing President Trump can do is make it so they can’t travel and shoot-up peoples like in Las Vegas.”
Reaction from President Trump has been muted at best. In a tone-deaf tweet from his golf course resort early this morning, President Trump wished his “My warmest condolences and sympathies to the victims and families of the terrible Las Vegas shooting,” leading some to believe that he had not been briefed on the terrorist situation, or he had no idea what was going on. However despite is his odd and inappropriate tweet, his supporters believe his heart is in “the right place.”
“He needs his time off,” continued Ms. Goldstone. “I mean he’s put so much time and effort into the ungrateful Puerto Ricans, that I think we need to cut him some slack, you know. He said ‘God Bless you,’ so that means in his Christian heart, he has all our best interests in mind.”
